Need and Captivate by Carrie Jones
City of Bones by Casandra Clare

The Armless Maiden and Other Tales for Childhood's Survivors. It takes many of the darkest old tales and uses them to tell stories of child abuse.

Patricia Wrede has a lovely version of Snow White and Rose Red set in
Renaissance England and in Faerie. It's just called _Snow White and
Rose Red
_.

That book, incidentally, is part of the Fairy Tale Series, a
collection of retold fairy tale novels edited by influential fantasy
writer/editor Terri Windling. They all have lovely covers by artist
Thomas Canty--some are definitely adult, while others are more
appealing to teens

A newer title, Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce, is an amalgam of Little
Red Riding Hood
and Snow White, Rose Red. I haven't read it myself
yet.

Black Pearls: A Faerie Strand by Louise Hawes is another collection of
short story retellings that I've been meaning to check out.

Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception by Maggie Stiefvater
